The Genesis of Sovare

Our story

SOVARE is an acronym for Sonoma Valley Red, and it’s name is fitting as it is a field blend of 3 classic red varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Zinfandel), all grown on the Sovare estate on the east facing slope of Sonoma Mountain.

 Sovare is grown, produced, and bottled by the DeAcetis Family. With deep roots on both coasts, New York and Sonoma, Nic and Denise carefully curate every vintage with great care and focus resulting in wines that are both brash and restrained.
